What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking an Admissions Program Manager to support the mission of the university. This position will support the Physician's Assistant Department in the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. This position will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative functions of graduate admissions for the Physician Assistant (PA) program. Works with the PA Admissions Committee and Office of Graduate Enrollment to coordinate marketing, recruitment, application, and admissions processes. Coordinates the collection, processing, and evaluation of admissions applications, ensuring that privacy and confidentiality are maintained in all admissions processes.
A Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant work experience is required. Five years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Manage all admissions sites and platforms, develop and update databases, and generate appropriate reports related to program inquiries and student prospects.
- Serve as the primary contact for all applicant inquiries related to program information and admissions processes. Manage daily correspondence, telephone follow-up, e-mails, and inquiries pertaining to PA applicants. Partner with Robbins Graduate Enrollment team to implement targeted calling/e-mail/mail campaigns to shape enrollment goals.
- Determine applicant eligibility for admission.
- Coordinate faculty involvement in the review of applications and selection of candidates.
- Track and manage processes for all applicants who are offered admissions, including follow-up with admitted applicants, securing seat deposits, managing the application in the Slate system, interfacing with the Graduate School, and working with the PA Admissions team to enroll the applicant into the incoming cohort.
- Contribute to the annual review of the admissions process as part of ongoing program assessment activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic planning.
- Track pertinent data to meet the information and reporting needs of the PA program, including data for program assessment and the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) self-study.
- Coordinate marketing and recruitment activities, including prospective student visits and virtual informational webinars, with the Robbins Graduate Enrollment team.
- Support routine review and update of the program website and other promotional/informational materials related to student recruitment and admissions in collaboration with leadership in other RCHHS graduate health programs.
- Assist in establishing and enforcing admissions standards, policies, and procedures to ensure that electronic and paper files and records are both complete and accurate, and that the PA program maintains confidentiality and compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Ensure records regarding student admissions and enrollment are maintained and kept in a secure setting consistent with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations.
- Assist in the timely management of all communications, both written and electronic; compose and send letters, memoranda, and electronic correspondence related to admissions.
- Comply with policies and procedures related to nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for all prospective students.
- Attend PA Department faculty and staff meetings, participate in PA program community service projects, assist with exam proctoring, assist with on-site events including orientation, lab immersions, and graduation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure processes function effectively to meet enrollment goals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission

The budgeted salary that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $60,000.
The full salary range for this position classification is $42,974.63 - $70,908.14.
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.
