The primary purpose of the Recruitment and Admissions Representative is to generate inquiries for Park University and support incoming students in navigating through the entire enrollment process to increase likelihood of attendance. The Recruitment and Admissions Representative works to grow brand awareness and student interest in Park University to yield a desired number of inquiries and applicants annually. This role will also work to maximize the number of students that start at the University. The Recruitment and Admissions Representative will identify potential students who want to start or further their education at Park University as well as initiate and nurture external and internal relationships that influence potential student decision making and increase the likelihood of student attendance.

Position Accountabilities

The primary purpose of the Recruitment and Admissions Representative is to generate inquiries for Park University and support incoming students in navigating through the entire enrollment process to increase likelihood of attendance. The Recruitment and Admissions Representative works to grow brand awareness and student interest in Park University to yield a desired number of inquiries and applicants annually. This role will also work to maximize the number of students that start at the University. The Recruitment and Admissions Representative will identify potential students who want to start or further their education at Park University as well as initiate and nurture external and internal relationships that influence potential student decision making and increase the likelihood of student attendance.

Position Accountabilities

Generate and Nurture Interest in Park Gilbert (50%)
  • Ensures that Park University achieves new student enrollment goals by providing a consistent/growing student inquiry and working with the students. Generates inquiries and assists them through exploring their Park journey.
  • Collects inquiries from all outreach efforts and input daily. This position will work with the supervisor to solidify goals in relation to the number of appointments, inquiries, admits and student starts for each recruitment period.
  • Understands the Park University value statements and delivers enthusiastic Park University presentations and University tours. This position will have goals in relation to the number of external connections and campus tours for the recruitment period.
  • Promotes and represents the university at fairs and recruiting events as approved by admissions leadership.


Create and Deliver Exceptional Recruitment Opportunities (25%)
  • Provides collaboration and attendance at admissions events. These may include campus visits, High School or College group visits, open house, orientation events or other admissions events as agreed upon with admissions leadership.
  • Provides on-campus (including co-location South Mountain Community College) communication with prospective students through phone calls, school visits, appointments, emails, text messages and other methods to build relationships and assist them with the application and enrollment process daily.
  • Cross Collaborates with multiple offices effectively to support the students' progress, questions, and paperwork.
  • Work closely with the Director of Enrollment and Student Services to create exceptional campus visit experiences and athletic coaches support as necessary to increase likelihood of student athlete attendance and enable students to prepare for their first semester of class.


Foster and Support Incoming Students to Successfully Start (25%)
  • Engages and supports prospective incoming students and families to increase likelihood of student attendance. This position is responsible for student support throughout the enrollment process with multiple, frequent touch points for success focused on proactive, persistent, and personalized communication.
  • Communicates effectively with students throughout the transition from non-matriculated to a matriculated student status. There will be specific seasonal commitments for outbound contact work and events which include evenings and weekends.
  • Implements and refines the strategy and communication schedule that will create and foster relationships to grow brand awareness and generate student interest in Park University. This requires research and initiative.
  • Supports data entry using the University CRM to assure students are admitted and attend Park.


Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • The ability to be self-motivated while performing a number of different tasks.
  • Must be able to do research and detailed work.
  • Preference given to candidates with advising, marketing, or sales experience.
  • Highly flexible, creative, and able to adapt to new project demands.
  • Strong problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Preference given to candidates with working knowledge and experience with a wide range of computer technology such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), databases, telephony and constituent relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Must be able to use specialized software, such as SalesForce.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work on a non-traditional schedule, specifically evenings and weekends.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to meet the requirements to be an approved Park University vehicle operator.
  • Reside in the assigned territory.
